Corrosiebestendigheid van Monel 400:

Monel400-legering heeft uitstekende corrosieweerstand in fluorgas, zoutzuur,

zwavelzuur, fluorwaterstofzuur en derivaten daarvan. tegelijkertijd

het heeft een betere corrosieweerstand dan een koperlegering in zeewater.

Zuur medium:

Monel400 is bestand tegen corrosie in minder dan 85% zwavelzuur.
